Norwich Social Club

Norwich Social and Norwich Social Club were both working names for a previous group (that never really got started) and then the group that eventually became GoSocial.

We started to call it Norwich Social Club but then shortened it to Norwich Social but very quickly decided that this would be too restrictive for us as we knew we would be getting members from across Norfolk and North Suffolk.
We already had interest from people / members in Poringland, Cromer, Wymondham, Thetford, Lowestoft, Halesworth, Fakenham, Bungay, Swaffham, Beccles & Gt. Yarmouth to name but a few. Many different names were discussed but we decided on GoSocial.

Now GoSocial, although primarily based in Norwich, has grown to serve and has members across Norfolk, North Suffolk and beyond (we have many members who live or work in other parts of the world but regularly travel to Norfolk. Our most distant member living in Brisbane, Australia). It has grown to be one of the largest and most popular (very possibly the largest and most popular) of the social groups in Norfolk and Suffolk.

We still retain ownership of the internet domain Norwich.Social to protect our interest in this name. Very possibly how you've found this page.
